Dr. Sunitha Kshatriya is the Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center and an Associate Professor of Management at the American University in Dubai (AUD). An accomplished Entrepreneurship and Innovation Educator, she brings over two decades of leadership experience across academia, entrepreneurship, and social innovation, driving education advancement, empowerment, and experiential learning in Dubai and Canada.
She specializes in program creation, teaching, training, and curriculum design, backed by extensive international expertise in HR management, policy development, and strategic leadership across multiple sectors. Her work in women empowerment and social innovation has been internationally recognized, earning her the Status of Women Canada Award (2012) for her impactful empowerment initiative.
A self-motivated, action-oriented, and results-driven educator with doctoral qualifications, Dr. Sunitha Kshatriya specializes in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Design Thinking, Strategic HR Management, program creation and development, curriculum design, quality assurance, and institutional assessment and accreditation. She brings over two decades of leadership experience across academia, entrepreneurship, and social innovation, with extensive international exposure across the UAE, Canada, India, and Saudi Arabia.
She is the Founder and Chairperson of the Empowerment Centre for the Advancement of Education (ECAfE), Canada, with a strong focus on women and youth empowerment, education–industry collaboration, and experiential learning. Over the years, she has completed specialized programs in innovation assessment, pedagogical innovation, leadership, adult training, embodied leadership, human resource management, and quality assurance, equipping her with deep expertise in academic leadership, policy development, and modern educational practices.
